Bag O' Gold Crowns...

were found today at the thrift store. There are nine crowns ready for some jewels and rhinestones! I can't wait to embellish them! I also purchased some lace binding and trims. I went to put them away in the "Lace Box" and the lid exploded off the box and this came pouring out

*sigh* looks like more organizing is in my future.
Oh, and here is a couple of shots of my apron I was telling you about last post:

I adore the embroidery work. It's a kitty pouring herself a bowl of milk.
I decided I'm probably going to be one of those mamas that is going to have a whole photo album of my child in the purse anxiously awaiting for someone to ask to see pictures, because here is yet another photo of my current baby

I just can't help myself! Hope you had a lovely Friday, I sure did!

All wound up...

I have been freakishly organizing some of my crafts. Like my embroidery thread, magazines and all my fabrics.

I donated a bunch of icky fabrics I had collected over the years. I didn't get a good picture of the fabrics though :P
I had years of Somerset Magazines that were stuffed in a suitcase. I went through a gianormous pile (we're talking at least 5 years worth) and reduced it to a few inches high of ripped out articles that will go into a binder. It is such a good feeling to get organized. I've said this before and I will probably say many times again, but I spend more time organizing my crafts than creating. Anyone else have that problem?

On a another note...I wanted to wish you all a belated Happy Valentines! I hope you all received gorgeous flowers, chocolate or at least a sloppy kiss! My Honey brought me home another man! Yep, he brought home Justin Timberlake Whoo...Hoo. The DVD that is! I was also the lucky recipitant of not 1 but 2 bouquets of sweet petals

Since my Honey swooned me, I thought I'd pass the cheer on and make these for my co-workers

Felt fortune cookies from Martha

and chocolate covered strawberry marshmellows! Yum!

I've been thrifting too. Here's my find:

It's a "toy" panel of a little girls' dress and a stuffed doll for that special little girl! Too cute! I found a really adorable apron too but it's in the wash. We'll save it for next post since this one is getting pretty lengthy. I also found these funny rabbit candy containers:
I got them for only 50 cents for all 3 of them (there was no price and the cashier was feeling generous). Love them!

Well I'll end this long post with yet another charming photo of the love of my life (aside from my honey of course)

In Loving Memory of Bunny•Bun•Bun

When Bunny Bun Bun came into our lives, we never thought she would be with us for 10 years! Both Bunny and us have been through a lot: We have lived through chewed clothes, carpet, furniture, papers, boxes, wood, wires (and we're talking big cables), you get the hint. Bunny has lived through: Trying to figure out what sex she was, a stomped foot, dehydration, construction and remodeling, hiding her from the landlord for the first 7 years of her life, cataracts and finally a bum leg!
Thanks for bringing joy into our lives, we will never forget you!

Pinky Finch, Football and a Special Delivery!

Pinky Finch has been transformed into this lovely little creation. As promised she is perched on a bed of vintage tinsel and shield with a cute parasol. Pearl eggs, a velvet flower and vintage flower buds surround her. You can find Miss Pinky in the shop.
Enough about the shop...did you see the Super Bowl? My voice is recovering from all my screaming and yelling yesterday! Sorry to those of you who had high hopes for the Patriots but I am sure glad the Giants won! I celebrated by eating one of these festive cupcakes

Being the last minute procrastonater I couldn't find football cupcake toppers, so I made my own! I think I used a whole tube of green gel food coloring and I still couldn't get dark green icing. But this turned out pretty cool. I still have one lone Patriots cupcake left hee hee.

On Saturday I received this special package

My favorite are these velvet rosettes!

and check out the pins!

Thank you Artsy Mama for hosting a spectacular swap!
Makes me want to join more swaps! I love the antisipation of waiting for fun packages to arrive on the doorstep!
