The Wicked Witch Lays Here ...

If you're not a Vampire come in at your own risk...

This is what happened to the last guest...

Our resident voodoo witch has done some nasty things to our guests...

Our specimen kitchen is filled with interesting "pieces"...

She madly reads her potion books...

Plucks feathers from her birds...

Adds bones to her mixture...

Not to mention snake parts...

and lights her candles...

Poof...

This poor soul has felt the wrath!

Some guests have took to hiding (see the top suitcase)...

But had their hands shrunken...

Eyes eaten...

Teeth displayed!

But lucky for you, she is out riding her wicked broom!

You can't help but look around at her possessions...

Her evilness is felt throughout...

You hear her kackle in the distance...

The owls give you a silent warning...

You run and almost trip over the suitcases...

And the pumpkins...

Muah ha ha...eeeeeee!

Unfortunately, you don't make it out in time...

I would wish you a happy halloween but you've become another wicked display!

Surgeon K's Reveal!

Remember when K was playing surgeon in this post?

I'm so excited to be able to present this to you! I absolutely love this table!

We made it based off these Martha Stewart directions.

We decided to make our table top rectangular and also bevel the edges to give it a more decorative look.

Now for the hard part...deciding what to put on it!

Polaroid Tuesday :: Week 50

Took these shots while we were in Maui. I didn't realize there are so many varieties of SPAM! Notice the Bacon SPAM is one of the more popular choices, because you need bacon on top of ham!

"SPAM classic is made of just pork with ham, salt, water, potato starch, sugar, and sodium nitrite. It's really no mystery at all."

Week Wrap Up...

What I've learned this week...

- Puppies are really hard to get photos of, unless they're asleep and I have hundreds of those shots.

- Last minute meetings stress me out.

- Pet proof screen (for screen doors) exists and it's amazing!

- Halloween is only 2 weeks away and I haven't even gotten through a 1/4 of putting up the decorations.

- Safeway carries green cinderella pumpkins!

- In the womb puppies organs grow outside of their belly (attached near the belly in the umbilical cord), and then when the puppy is developed enough (and has a big enough belly cavity - they are pushed inside of them (fascinating)!

- There are not a whole lot of options when purchasing boy clothes!

Hope you've had an incredible week!

We went to Maui Brotha!

Maui sunsets are unbelievable!

We watched them every night!

There's something so peaceful about watching the sunset.

“Once I saw a chimpanzee gaze at a particularly beautiful sunset for a full 15 minutes, watching the changing colors [and then] retire to the forest without picking a pawpaw for supper.”

Polaroid Tuesday :: Week 49

I didn't get to my blog at all last week and this is part of the reason why...

Meet Meeko! She is our newest addition to our family. We can't stop loving her and Mochi too! Meeko is known as a Frenchton, a French Bulldog-Boston Terrier mix. We just love those smooshed little faces and cute peanut tails!

Goat Hill Fair!

A few weeks ago I was able to attend the Goat Hill Fair! It was an antique and artisan fair and the first of it's kind for the Bay Area. I first learned about it when I attended an estate sale and the gal that helped me saw the kinds of things I was purchasing and thought I would be interested and indeed she was right!

I really hate myself because I didn't get too many photos. I don't know what it is, every time I get to any fairs or flea markets I always clam up when asking to take photos of the booths.

The booths were all beautifully decorated and lots of eye candy.

It was held on a goat farm in Los Gatos-Santa Cruz, who now there was such a hidden gem in the Bay Area!

This gourd plant reminded me of how fun it was to grow these!

I've always wanted a croquet set but couldn't see myself spending $60 for this one.

I hope this will continue as and annual fair, we need more fairs like this for all the creative souls in the Bay Area!
