Bubble, Bubble Toil and Trouble...

Welcome Patrons of Halloween 2010! We have a perfectly eerie sunset to kick off this year's Halloween party!

The front porch greets you with fairy tale pumpkins...

The raven has staked her claim on them.

Vampires please come in all others knock if you dare...

Please sign in at the typewriter...

Beware of your surroundings...

Evil birds have been known to peck at fresh flesh...

Witches have appeared to cast spells!

With their potions and incantations...

They've placed evil curses....

"Eye of newt, and toe of frog,
Wool of bat, and tongue of dog,
Adder's fork, and blind-worm's sting,
Lizard's leg, and owlet's wing,
For a charm of powerful trouble,
Like a hell-broth boil and bubble."

Turning humans into pumpkins!

Patrons of long ago Halloween parties have been forgotten...

Hark! Hark to the wind! 'Tis the night, they say,
When all souls come back from the far away-The dead, forgotten this many a day!

Alas let's forget these petty affairs and celebrate!

Under the great chandelier is a feast of...

Plump pumpkins

Warty gourds

Juicy berries and rich cheeses

Mammoth Bones

Help yourself to a napkin...

or else this is what will happen...

For dessert we're offering...

Suculant eyeballs

Finger licking good cookies

Teeth rotting gumballs

Lets not forget about spirits
(we're not talking about the spirits floating around)...

Although there's no denying...

A great evilness lies within...

'Tis the night, the night of the grave's delight,
And the warlocks are at their play; Ye think that without wild winds shout, But no, it is they - it is they.

Untold stories waiting to be spoken.

Pixie, kobold, elf, and sprite,
All are on their rounds tonight; In the wan moon's silver ray,Thrives their helter-skelter play.

'Tis now the very witching time of night, I fear the end is near...

I hope you've filled yourself with dreadful delights, but beware of lingering frights.

Well, well my little pretties we hope you had a horrid time and thank you for stopping in to celebrate Halloween with Pixie Paper Arts. Please leave a comment for a chance to win The Siamese Twins! A winner will be randomly picked and announced by October 19th ! Don't forget to leave your email address!

"Shadows of a thousand years rise again unseen,
Voices whisper in the trees, "Tonight is Halloween!"

Ooh what a wonderful party - one of my favourites for sure. I think even the real witches, ghouls and vampires might be frightened to visit your house on Halloween. A veritable treasure trove!

Do pop by if you have the time for a very spooky tale of what hides in the woods...
